The power supply is linear and generously dimensioned. The filtration is made with the best quality components. The final transistors are twice as fast and Uniti can authoritatively reproduce every nuance of your music. The power is not very high, but the amplifier has full control and can correctly and completely reproduce the signal it reproduces.
Easy to control application
From the point of view of connectivity, Naim made sure that nothing is missing: Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay, online streaming from Tidal and Spotify, UPnP, Bluetooth, Internet Radio, USB, digital and analog inputs (including HDMI). Uniti can read files from the local network and is equipped with a headphone amplifier, has a multiroom application and is ready for Roon software.
Premium design
The volume control dominates the case of the device. Despite the futuristic appearance, the volume control is realized in the analog domain, with discrete components. The streaming module is a premium design, inspired by the top model NAC-N 272. The integrated DSP is based on a 40-bit SHARC processor, from the fourth generation. Its role is to minimize the jitter and transmit the digital information to the Burr Brown DACs. Uniti uses a RAM buffer (same as Naim DAC or Naim NDS). A 12 cm color LCD display is mounted on the front of the device, on which useful information and artwork are displayed. The display has a proximity sensor and is automatically activated when you approach the device.
More power
The equipment in the Uniti range is truly Multi-Room. Music can be played simultaneously in several rooms from any source, or they can be used independently, with the same application. It can be used as a server for four different equipment or with six used synchronized in Party-Mode. The WiFi connection is available on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Naim Uniti is open for upgrade. If more power is needed, you can always add a power amplifier on the analog pre-out output. A Uniti Core server can be connected to the system on which you can store high-resolution audio files.
