The Monitor Audio speakers built into walls or ceilings from the AWC series are specially designed to work in atmospheric conditions with high humidity (outdoor or indoor swimming pools or bathrooms, pleasure boats, yachts, etc.) according to the IP55 standard. The solutions and construction materials are dedicated to the purpose of providing speakers resistant to adverse atmospheric conditions, but without affecting the quality of the reproduced sound, which must remain at Monitor Audio standards. The AWC265-T2 is a moisture-resistant in-ceiling stereo speaker with a 16.5 cm C-CAM mid-bass speaker and two 2.5 cm Gold Dome C-CAM tweeters oriented in different directions to create the stereophonic feeling, a optimal solution for small spaces, thus the sound played is of high quality and has a good dispersion and a wide spectrum of frequencies. Installation of the speaker in the ceiling is easy with the help of the spring-loaded signal plugs and the Tri-Grip mounting clips designed for variable thicknesses of the false ceiling. High frequencies can be adjusted from a switch with three positions: +3 dB / 0 dB / -3 dB. The ornamental grid covers the entire surface of the speaker and is specially treated for rust resistance. The speakers come with a cardboard template for cutting out the installation gap in the ceiling.
