Focal Chora 826 speakers

The Chora 826 bass reflex floor speakers represent the embodiment of an affordable high-fidelity solution for the best listening experience. Equipped with the exclusive Slatefiber cone, developed and manufactured by Focal in France, and the drivers deliver balanced and precise mid frequencies and a perfect, articulated bass, letting you enjoy a great, full and generous sound. In addition, the presence of an aerodynamic port eliminates distortions and offers more impact.

Aluminum / magnesium TNF tweeter

The surrounding part that connects the dome to the support uses a memory foam material called Poron. This component is derived from the famous beryllium tweeter used on the Utopia, and reduces a third of distortion between 2000Hz and 3000Hz. The spaciousness of this dome allows high frequencies to be heard from any point of the listening room.

Perfectly balanced sound

The Slatefiber technology, exclusive to Focal, involves the use of recycled carbon fibers, applied as a sandwich between two layers of polymer. In their long search for perfection, Focal engineers chose to use carbon fibers, all aiming in the same direction to obtain increased rigidity and damping.

Manufactured in the Focal workshops using an ultra-modern industrial tool, the "slate" effect of the cone offers superior damping and rigidity, but also a reduced mass - these three elements being essential for a quality speaker.

The Chora range boasts a modern design, raised on an inclined support for "Time Alignment", which offers an optimal soundstage, more focused on the listener.
