HYBRID TRACTRIX® HORN TECHNOLOGY
Klipsch's proprietary Tractrix® technology ensures that the high-frequency energy of the RP-8000F floorstanding speaker is directed directly at the listener and reduces unwanted, artificial reverberations caused by sound reflecting off walls - meaning you experience the clearest, most detailed and realistic sound possible.
Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter (LTS)
The LTS component with 1" linear travel suspension minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of the previous Reference Premiere series, being a key component of some of the world's best speakers.
Ventilated tweeter design
The ventilated enclosure of the tweeter reduces standing waves that produce unwanted harmonics, resulting in improved detail and clarity in the reproduction of high frequencies.
CERAMETALLIC™ WOOFER
Klipsch Cerametallic™ woofers are the signature of the RP-8000F floorstanding speakers for both sound and aesthetics. These extremely light and rigid materials retain their shape, being able to deliver lower frequencies with maximum efficiency.
TRACTRIX® PORT + DOUBLE TERMINALS
The rear Tractrix port perfectly matches the cabinet and woofers, creating ideal airflow with minimal distortion or turbulence even at the lowest frequencies.
Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping separate the high and low frequency current into two different speaker cables, reducing distortion and providing clearer environments. The bi-amping variant allows performance optimization with separate power amplifiers for the high and low frequency drivers.
