The CP series of built-in speakers in walls and ceilings from Monitor Audio is highlighted by the fact that the speakers have their own closed enclosure and no longer interact with the space behind the wall, in this way the sound is more precise, more predictable, more evenly produced from all speakers installed in the same room. The Monitor Audio CP-CT380IDC is an in-ceiling speaker with its own closed enclosure, with a top-of-the-line, mid-bass C-CAM RST 20 cm speaker and an IDC swivel module consisting of the C-CAM RST Inverted 10 cm mid-bass speaker cm and the 2.5 cm Gold C-CAM tweeter. Optimizing the sound scene in the audition place can be done by pivoting and orienting the IDC mode, by adjusting the level of the highs, but also of the mids (-3 dB, 0 dB, +3dB for each) and by compensating the edge effect "boundary compensation" (on /off). Installation of the speaker in the ceiling is easy with the help of the spring-loaded signal plugs and the Tri-Grip mounting clips designed for variable thicknesses of the false ceiling. High frequencies can be adjusted from a switch with three positions: +3 dB / 0 dB / -3 dB. The ornamental grid covers the entire surface of the speaker and is very easily removable, being magnetically fixed. The speakers come with a cardboard template for cutting out the installation gap in the ceiling.
