General presentation of Monitor Audio CSS230 Super Slim InCeiling Speakers
Monitor Audio CSSW230 is a built-in ceiling speaker with its own enclosure with a thickness of only 50 mm dedicated for ceilings where there is no space required to install ordinary ceiling speakers with depths of 100 - 150 mm. The enclosure can be adjusted by means of an internal device to function as a bass-reflex speaker or as a closed enclosure, at the user's choice depending on the desired response in the mid-low frequency area. Three 75 mm mid-bass speakers placed in a triangle, surround a 19 mm tweeter, producing a combined sound remarkably rich in details and with an appreciable bass for such a technical solution. Magnetic grids are available for masking the speaker, both round and square.
