General presentation Monitor Audio W280-IDC In-Wall speakers

Monitor Audio W280-IDC is a built-in wall speaker - three-way construction - that offers a sound rich in details in the midrange, a superior reproduction of voices and with a higher power per speaker. The W280-IDC contains a 20 cm C-CAM bass speaker and an IDC swivel module consisting of the 10 cm C-CAM RST Inverted midrange speaker and the 2.5 cm Gold C-CAM tweeter. Optimizing the sound scene at the audition site can be done by pivoting and orienting the IDC mode, by adjusting the treble level (-3 dB, 0 dB, +3dB) and by compensating the edge effect "boundary compensation" (on/off). The ornamental grid covers the entire surface of the speaker and is very easily removable, being magnetically fixed. The speakers come with a cardboard template for cutting out the installation gap in the wall.

- Gold Dome C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminum Magnesium) tweeters for maximum detail and finesse without distortion.
- IDC (Inverted Dual Concentric) swivel module consisting of a special medium speaker (RST Inverted) and a concentrically positioned tweeter, the module can be rotated in any direction (max. 18 degrees) to direct the sound flow towards the audition site. Only available on select models.
- compensation system (on/off switch) of the wall or ceiling effect - Boundary Compensation - to reduce distorted bass. Only available on select models.
- sound adjustment system in high frequencies (treble), switch with three positions: -3 dB, 0 dB, +3 dB. Only available on select models.
