QED Performance Premium HDMI cable
We introduced HDR (High Dynamic Range) support with HDMI 2.0 version. With the help of HDR processing there is a higher contrast ratio and more brightness adjustment to provide a smoother image and more details in both bright and dark areas. A technology usually associated with HDR is Wide Color Gamut (WCG), which offers an extended color palette.
With the introduction of the HDMI 2.0 standard in September 2013, the maximum transfer rate of the HDMI connection increased from 10.2Gb / s to 18Gb / s. This was done in order to move to the new uncompressed 4K 60Hz video standard (called 4K60 4: 4: 4) which required a data rate of 16.06 Gb/s. Thus the source and processing equipment at each end of the HDMI cable must also be 2.0 compatible.
Internet high speed
QED used the Audio Return Channel (ARC) in all HDMI cables even before it was a requirement of the HDMI organization since the introduction of HDMI 1.4 in 2009. We have only focused on producing the highest standards of "High Speed with Ethernet". This policy allowed us to immediately support the new HDMI 2.0 standard introduced a few years ago and our certification for 4K60 use.
