The FH1S is a newly developed earphone that takes as a base the original FiiO FH1, itself highly acclaimed by many in the audio community, and further improves the sound to greater heights. Compared to the FH1, the FH1S has a bigger and improved dynamic driver combined with a Knowles balanced armature driver for truly deep and revealing bass, astonishingly clear mids and highs, and truly moving lush vocals.
The FH1S'Knowles 33518 BA driver is located near the front (closer to the ear) of the body, which reduces high-frequency sound loss and thus improves treble extension. The Knowles BA drivers play its high frequencies through a brass sound tube, which reduces unwanted resonances and gives the higher frequencies a sense of realism and tactility you can really feel.
The dynamic driver used in the fh1s is a large 13.6mm unit with a polymer diaphragm. The larger the dynamic driver, the more it is able to provide textured, deeply extended, quick, yet robust bass that sounds extremely natural. |
Included with the FH1S is a custom-made cable made of 120 individually braided high purity monocrystalline Litz wires. Each Litz wire is insulated from each other, ensuring better audio transmission performance under the naturally-occurring yet adverse skin effect. What this means for actual listening is improved bass and mids, as well as more coherence between all audio frequencies.
To make sure that the dynamic driver diaphragm isn't negatively affected by unwanted airflow when being used, we built in dynamic airflow balance technology into the shell of the FH1s. This results in a pure, clean, effortless sound especially at lower frequencies, for greatly enhanced soundstage and overall sound quality. |
