MQA is an award-winning British technology that delivers studio-quality sound in a file compact enough for streaming. TIDAL, for example, uses MQA technology to deliver master-quality sound to its Hi-Fi subscription. DacMagic 200M can decode and play MQA files, with sound exactly like the original recording.
At the heart of the DacMagic 200M are two very high quality ESS Saber D/A converters. It decodes digital audio files up to 32bit/768kHz or DSD512, so it handles any type of music stored on CDs, phones, computers and other devices. When the digital signal passes through the DacMagic 200M, the pair of DACs converts it into analog information with the dynamics and details intact.
You can feed digital audio files into the DacMagic 200M in countless ways. Digital optical, digital coaxial and USB inputs mean CD players, games consoles, laptops and any other digital equipment can be easily connected - and aptX Bluetooth reception means it's a breeze to play files wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet.
Despite the incredible number of features, extensive functionality and extraordinary technology on the DacMagic 200M, Cambridge Audio has managed to incorporate them into a beautifully constructed, impeccably finished steel and aluminum enclosure that measures just 52 x 215 x 191mm.
