- This is an entry-level model of the range, with a 500 body and a massive elliptical needle ( VMN 30 EN ). The suspension is made of aluminum and has a variable section (they are narrower towards the needle). The elliptical needle is more precise than the conical one and offers a better frequency response and reduced distortions. The massive construction allows obtaining a needle with a lower mass, with a lower inertia transposed into a better tracking capacity.
