Essential III – George Harrison

Pro-Ject worked with Bravado, Apple Corps, and Studio Number One to create a work of art based on the 2014 art-print lithograph designed for this George Harrison and Pro-Ject collaboration by artist Shepard Fairey.

Fairey, known for his iconic Obey Giant and the Hope poster for the 2008 Obama campaign, included a design of George Harrison's personal analog recording console which can be seen underneath the acrylic platter.

The turntable features an adjustable 8.6” one-piece aluminum tonearm utilizing sapphire bearings that house a factory-mounted/aligned Ortofon OM10 cartridge. The main bearing is precision machined, high-grade stainless steel, and the drive pulley is crafted from aluminum.

The acrylic platter speed is regulated by a new DC motor speed controller. The George Harrison Essential III Turntable includes Connect it E interconnect hardwired directly to the output.
