General presentation of the iFi Audio ZEN Air Phono

Enjoy a pure listening experience with ZEN Air Phono, the affordable phono stage from iFi Audio.

A phono stage, also called a phono preamplifier, provides the connection between the box and the amplifier. The pick-up doses produce a very low signal. This signal needs to be amplified several hundred times until it is strong enough for your amplifier. A phono stage increases the signal level from millivolts to volts.

When vinyl was the standard for audio recordings, the phono stage was incorporated into receivers and amplifiers, allowing a direct connection of a pickup. Currently, most receivers and amplifiers do not contain a phono stage, so a separate unit is required.

Sonic purity

Listening to music on vinyl is a pleasure. It sounds clearer than when you listen to a song on your phone or computer.

Make it a pure experience by reducing vinyl noise with ZEN Air Phono.

MC and MM
There are two types of pickup boxes - Moving Magnet and Moving Coil - and the ZEN Air Phono is compatible with both versions.

The MM setting is for doses with an output voltage of 2mV or higher, and the MC setting is suitable for an output level below 2mV.

You can use the switch on the back to select the desired setting.

It also features precise RIAA equalization to satisfy even the most demanding vinyl lovers.
